Felix Frith's work encompasses visions of the unfamiliar. Scenes that evoke an environment of anonymity, and which suggest collective introspective fantasy. Using colour photography Frith developes sets of photographs that deal with seperately oblique worlds, crowded with internal structures that seem to postulate the very limits of understanding through their ambiguity. By isolating and recording unusual scenarios outside the commonly visible he creates a language that conjures an eerie, sometimes sinister atmosphere. The resulting space emotionally provokes the onlooker to reflect upon and question the everyday reality that they inhabit.
